Xmas with the King of Gamblers

Actually, can't really call them King of Gamblers more like King of Poker cause only one was well regarded by Ah Pork's group of buddies which is non other than Chee How. Well the rest are definitely better than me and Ah Pork (I keep hesitating and scared = Mr Loh, No strategy anyhow cheong = Me)

This is the virgin christmas spent with Mr Loh's secondary school buddies after we have been together for 7 years. For many years, my other parties always clash with his friends and I have no choice but to let him go there alone. Maybe I am just afraid, cause initially his friends ain't very supportive of our relationship due to the size differences (now the gap narrowed, when Mr Loh and I ballooned together (O_O) haha...

Maybe I am just over sensitive, or am I suffering from some self esteem diminishing illness? Anyway, Xmas is all about good food, presents and lots of fun. Hmm I didn't really snap any photos on that day (not sure if they mind), so I now need to steal photos from our photographer on that day, Mr Wong who did not seem to be able to focus the DSLR and do zooming..Opps but he really took a couple of great shots, like those below:

While we were learning how to play San Guo Sha (三国杀), a strategy card game that is based on the Three Kingdom Period in China's history with characters who we are familiar with like Liu Bei, Cao Cao, Zhang Fei etc.

It reminds me of another card game called "BANG!" (in case, some of you don't know, haha I used to work in Settlers' Cafe - the board game cafe at Clarke Quay - serve food + teach people board games) So, I know a couple of popular games. But, this is new to me, so I super attentive @_@

at him. I look damn kuku! (-__-) Hmph later he thought I mesmerized by him.

By the way, that day we won $12, maybe I am Ah Pork's lucky star. Maybe it's the lucky casino chip that Yao Hao gave us. Cause Mr Loh always lose when he plays poker with them.

Wei Kai did not attend the party thus his girlfriend Esther didn't come too. Well, we are always outnumber though, look forward to 2013 Xmas - hope the guys find their Ms Right to add more gals to the group.

Hohoho... Merry Christmas and Happy New Year??

There are 3 Xmas gathering this year for me. I mean last year haha.. one of it was with my company bosses and colleagues, another one is with Ah Pork's gang and of course I will never missed the one with my Mahjong Lovelies!

It is a breakthrough! This year I finally went to attend Xmas party with Ah Pork, this is like the first time out of our 7 years relationship together. But but but I am going to post about my Mahjong Lovelies ones first, that's for sure lah cause we are more interesting and got theme one can lol!

What's special about Mahjong Lovelies' Xmas Party?? We got theme one and we mean serious business. This year we are having Animal Prints!! Without a doubt, I am definitely going for Leopard Prints...Wee~ But a few of us have problems of telling the difference betweem animal prints and one of us provided the analysis, that's right...See @-@

The difference between Cheetah, Leopard and Jaguar then all went frantically to ransack their wardrobe for clothes...

It's a potluck this year, let me introduce our masterchefs for the party?

First, let's put our hands to welcome,

Chef Lim who's specialises in soupy treats, he's busy preparing cream of mushroom for us!

Chef Tso aka DJ KT , Cameraman Ah Ken and also the chairman of our fanclub, our multi-talented boyfriend of Lao Wang is preparing sauce and making us the perfectly looking poached egg (really look like those you get in restaurant).

How can we miss out our Dessert Chef, our cool Chef Lo. She is our yoga guru, who knows she might be doing salute to the sun yoga pose while flipping our blueberry pancakes?

After the magicial hands of our chefs, we have

a FEAST!!! A table full of food...include the dishes Lene and Xiao Hui brought. Lene prepared potato salad for us while Xiao Hui brought salad salad as in full of vegetables kind.

Other than what I have mentioned earlier, we also have

And our course, I cannot go empty handed, but my estimation was damn bad - I brought way too much for us to eat. I bought Cream Puffs from Tampopo which is freaking BIG, a Christmas Cake plus some small pieces of bite sized cakes I made.

Got super cute Santa Claus on the cake, but too bad we are all so full....

Well, it is the time to look for best actor or actress of the day, cause after eating till we feel like vomiting, we are supposed to pose for photos. It is the "yummy look" photos at the point of time when you almost feel like puking when you see food...haha

And the winner goes to...

Lene with her birdy look but our new friend, Xiao Hui's fiance Desmond was pretty impressive as well. Oh, he is in the top left corner pic, it is a tough match!

But we also did a lot of crazy stuff which cannot be posting on my blog, if anyone other than us sees the photo, I am sorry we will need to kill you then. Haha we acted like animals in the Safari - lying around and stuff - it is hilarious, can't believe our Cameraman Ah Ken could still display his professionalism and took our photos without bursting in laughter and tears.
We are starting to plan for Xmas 2013, maybe we will have a comeback performance of Jingz Gals (our group name) by the way we had our first release 2 years ago during Xmas that performance at
Lao Wang's House also is a prohibited video. Maybe it will appear on one of our wedding as a special  wedding clip. All the crazy things we did when we are younger.... lol
